Picture of cyclists outside Marshmoor Cafe (1952) sought
« on: December 31, 2009, 07:05:12 am »
We've received an email from someone who thinks they may be on this picture.

It is of Marshmoor Cafe, Great North Road, Christmas Day 1952 - a popular rendezvous for cycling clubs from 1930 until it closed in 1966.

The image comes from the book North Mymms Pictures From The Past, which is reproduced on this site. The person writing in would like to know if anyone has the original image.

Thanks

David

The photo is held in the archives of North Mymms Local History Society, the authors of the book.  If the emailer contacts me I can give them the name and address of the archivist.
