John Pickering
« on: October 11, 2009, 06:17:49 pm »
Some current and former BP residents will remember John Pickering. As a former Group Scout Leader for the 2nd Hatfield (1st Brookmans Park) Scout troop I was sad to see that he passed away, 2nd October. John together with his wife Lois moved to Sidmouth in Devon some years ago. People that remember him in his role as GSL will recall his dedication and enthusiasm for Scouting. He is also remembered by his family as husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Condolences to the family.

I have been asked to add this information to this thread.
There will be a thanksgiving service at the Methodist Church, High Street, Sidmouth on Wednesday 14 October at 2pm. Cars can be parked at All Saints Church, All Saints Road (about 100 metres from the church.
The Brookmans Park Newsletter has been supporting the village and our local community since 1998 by providing free, interactive tools for all to use.

One of the nicest men who lived in Brookmans Park.

My condolences to his family.
