RVC and tropical disease

Deadly diseases including plague, Ebola and Rift Valley Fever are being targeted as part of a new multi-million pound international partnership involving African researchers and the Royal Veterinary College (RVC).

Not directly connected, but does anyone know what work is going on at the RVC as they have earth moving lorries currently using the entrance to a field on Hawkshead Road.

Can't say for sure but planning permission was given in January 2009 for a new equine hospital.  Plans etc on www.welhat.gov.uk ref 2009/2336.
