Funniest politician gaff so far this campaign so far
« on: April 28, 2010, 08:34:06 pm »
Hi all,

Just got back from work and as soon as I put Sky News on I saw what I reckon is the funniest gaff of the campaigns so far...

Gordon B, being super-smarmy-nice to an old lady to her face, followed by a 'forgot to turn the mic (that he specifically asked Sky for) off when he got into the car' moment...

here's the link...  http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/Politics/Gordon-Brown-Apologises-For-Calling-A-Woman-Gillian-Duffy-Bigoted-In-Rochdale-During-Campaign/Article/201004415621596?lpos=Politics_Carousel_Region_0&lid=ARTICLE_15621596_Gordon_Brown_Apologises_For_Calling_A_Woman_Gillian_Duffy_Bigoted_In_Rochdale_During_Campaign

Funniest.  Thing.  Ever.

Thank god we're not Sue - he'll probably throw all sorts of things at her when he sees her!!!   ;D ;D ;D

Cheers,
Aidan

PS:  also check out the Harriot Harman awkwardness when interviewed afterwards!  hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

In the interests on balance I found this funny

WARNING This image is (IMHO) very mildly rude, but some of the comments people have posted underneath are offensive.
