Site downtime
« on: May 17, 2008, 01:47:02 pm »
Positive Internet say they are going to have to take the server this site uses down for emergency maintenance during the early hours of tomorrow morning. Apologies to all our down under users who tend to log on at that time.  Here is the message from Positive.

Quote
Shared Server Emergency Maintenance

Due to unforeseen circumstances, it has become necessary to carry out emergency work on the shared server platform. This will result in an approximately 4 hour outage which we have scheduled as late as possible. This will be no earlier than 12am BST Sunday 18th May and should have completed before 7am BST Sunday 18th May.

No data should be affected or email lost during this period.

We apologise for any inconvenience this outage may cause our customers. Whilst we do not guarantee any specific uptime figure for our shared hosting product we do assure you this kind of outage is extremely rare and we do everything possible to give as much notice as possible.

Kind regards,

The Positive Internet Team.

Sorry the site has not been available for the best part of 24 hours. Our hosting company had some problems with the shared server.
