Congraulations Michael. You only have to go into Gobions for a few minutes to realise the amount of work that has gone into making what it is today, and then to realise that it has all been done by volunteers - fantastic! I for one am very grateful that Gobions exists as a place where I and other local residents are free to go and enjoy the nature that has been created and protected by you and your team.

We were house hunting here in a cold and bleak January in 1996 when we found Gobions Woodland.  We walked around it during a break from viewing and decided this is where we wanted to live.  We have used this wonderful resource every weekend since.  Friends who come to stay comment on how lucky we are to have Gobions on our doorstep -- and we know they are right. Thank you Michael, and the rest of the team, for keeping this facility available for the community to enjoy.

Go through with the nasty things then enjoy the good.

It is nice to see the hard work of the individuals concerned being rewarded in such a way.
Gobions is the best thing about living in BP. It is possible to have variable 5 mile circuitous walks which will involve fields, meadows, waterways, woods and farm land. All usually in solitude. The flora and fauna are delightfull. As a bonus the area is safe and generally peacefull.
It is difficult to manage wild areas without them looking man made and the team involved seem to accomplish this which is praiseworthy alone.
The work involved must be arduous.
regards,
jet
