Annie Evelyn Mary Barron (Young)
« on: October 03, 2007, 03:30:17 pm »
My paternal grandfather and grandmother lived for a while in 17 Frampton Street, North Mymms in 1930.  I am trying to get some history/information about my grandmother Annie Evelyn Mary Barron, I believe the Barron family lived in North Mymms during this time.  If you have any information please could you let me know.  My father's name is Hugh Alan Young

Are you sure it was Frampton Street?  There is a Frampton Road in Little Heath which is in the North Mymms parish.   Of course the name of the road may have changed since 1930 but there is no Frampton Street now in North Mymms.

Hello Thank you for your response.  Yes you are correct it is Frampton Road, Little Heath, North Mymms I have just checked the Marriage Certificate dated 1931.

There are lots of 'Youngs' in the phone book.  Barron is not a very common name fortunately.

The phone book shows Barrons living at 23 Manor Rd Potters Bar, 110 Byng Drive Potters Bar, 103 Gurney Court Rd St Lalbans, 21 Townfields Hatfield, 39 Woodside House, Bridge Rd Welwyn Garden City, 58 Simmons Drive St Albans, 141 Sandridge Rd St Albans, 4 Birchall Wood WGC, and 6 Kingsmead Cuffley, Potters Bar.

Maybe these Barrons can help with your search.  Good luck.
