The RVC has sent this site the text of a brochure setting out its plans for the future of the Hawkshead Campus and a diagram of the proposals. Both have been reproduced on this site -- see below.

A public meeting is being held at the RVC's Northumberland Hall, which is on the Hawkshead Campus, on Thursday, 20 March, starting at 8pm.

Click here to read more details and click here to see a diagram of the proposals.

At the seminar hosted by the RVC last week at Northumberland Hall, it was suggested that the RVC had never before engaged in such a planning exercise "with blocks marked on a plan".     May we respectfully direct any interested parties again to the microfiche records held at Welwyn Hatfield Council to look at past examples.    For those who'd prefer to "let their mouse do the walking", I attach two samples from 20+ years ago ...

We understand that the latest rumour, piece of misinformation or whatever, is that the College is selling its Camden Campus.
This is quite untrue.    The College's planning documentation makes it plain that BOTH campuses (RVC Camden and RVC Hawkshead) have particular roles to play.   At the College's public meeting on 20 March, the College Principal carefully explained the present and future functions of the respective campus facilities
