School League Tables

It is interesting to see that Chancellors has climbed the league tables this year and is now 40th out of 95 in our LEA. What is perhaps more relevant (and worrying for parents with their oldest child still at primary school) is the fact that Mount Grace came 90th and Onslow came 95th.

If you have a child transferring this year and they donít already have a sibling at Chancellors and do not excel at sport or music then they are very unlikely to be offered a place anywhere other than Onslow.

The provision for state secondary education in this area is appalling.

I agree that state provision for good secondary schooling in our area is very poor. This was exacerbated for parents in Brookmans Park last year by Chancellors' perverse and wilful refusal to accomodate all the children from Brookmans Park who had applied for places. The rejected children from Brookmans Park were offered Onslow's instead! So, parents beware!
